What are the park’s opening hours?

The park is open from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Wednesday to Monday. It’s closed on Tuesdays.

Yes, we highly recommend purchasing tickets in advance, especially during high season. Tickets are only available online through the official SINAC website.

Absolutely! Guided tours enhance the experience by helping you spot wildlife like sloths, monkeys, toucans, and more. Our certified guides also use spotting scopes for a closer view.

Comfortable walking shoes, water, sunscreen, insect repellent, swimsuit, towel, hat, and a camera. Avoid plastic bags or single-use plastics—they’re not allowed.

The national park does not allow any type of food inside. Only drinks are permitted, except for alcoholic beverages. There is a café inside the park near the area where we finish the tour, in case you’d like to buy something after the hike.

Yes! The park features some of the most beautiful beaches in Costa Rica, including Playa Manuel Antonio and Playa Espadilla Sur, which are great for swimming.

The national park does not offer on-site parking. However, there are several private parking lots nearby, with prices ranging from $6–$10 USD. We recommend Chalo Parking, as it is the closest option to the park, very safe, and conveniently located right next to our meeting point.
